Chapter Officer Responsibilities

Chapter Chief

·         Oversees all areas of chapter/lodge/section/national participation, which involves careful planning, promotion, and execution, in coordination with Chapter Advisor and Associate Advisor.

·         Attends Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge’s annual Lodge Leadership Development Course (LLDC) in August.

·         Submits Gator Tales articles ON TIME EVERY TIME.

·         Represents Chapter on Aal-Pa-Tah’s Lodge Executive Committee (LEC) by attending all scheduled meetings and submitting proper chapter report.

·         Conducts Unit Elections, which occur from January-March every year, and attends Elections training when scheduled by the Lodge.

·         Schedules and conducts Chapter Officer meetings when necessary.

·         When appropriate, promotes all chapter, lodge, section and national events, in conjunction with other Chapter Officers and Chapter Advisor/Associate Advisor..

·         Attends and oversees all Chapter functions and must attend all Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge weekends.

·         Reports directly to Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge Chief.

·         Wears the Scout uniform correctly when representing Scouting and the Order of the Arrow.

 

Chapter Vice-Chief of Program

·         Organizes Chapter non-service events, including day/weekend activities, in coordination with the Chapter Chief and Chapter Advisor/Associate Advisor.

·         Represents the Chapter on Aal-Pa-Tah’s Lodge Executive Committee (LEC) in the event that the Chapter Chief is unable to attend its scheduled meeting.

·         If Chapter Chief resigns, serves as acting Chapter Chief until the next Chapter meeting, where an election for Chapter Chief for remainder of term will occur.

·         Assists with Unit Elections, which occur from January-March every year, as deemed appropriate by Chapter Chief.

·         Attends all Chapter functions and Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge weekends.

·         Reports directly to Chapter Chief.

·         Wears the Scout uniform correctly when representing Scouting and the Order of the Arrow.

 

Chapter Vice-Chief of Service

·         In coordination with Chapter Chief, organizes annual Operation One Day of Service.

·         Organizes other community service projects and Oklawaha service projects when appropriate, in coordination with the Chapter Chief and Chapter Advisor/Associate Advisor.

·         Assists with Unit Elections, which occur from January-March every year, as deemed appropriate by Chapter Chief.

·         Attends all Chapter functions and Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge weekends

·         Reports directly to Chapter Chief.

·         Wears the Scout uniform correctly when representing Scouting and the Order of the Arrow.
